About the OpenLM License Parser

License files and license manager logs are often regarded as unintelligible lengthy cryptic scribes, with little or no applicative meaning for administrators and users alike.

The OpenLM License Parser is an online service that clarifies and analyzes these files. It highlights license statistics, and helps humans to regain control over their license manager’s inputs and outputs. Every file is parsed within seconds, providing a detailed and informative report.

Creation of the service was inspired by Autodesk’s license parser (licenseparser.com); a service that enabled Autodesk users to analyse their FLEXlm license files. OpenLM expanded this service to every type of license manager, thus applying to leading engineering applications such as: Mathworks Matlab, Ansys, Solidworks, Aveva, Cadence etc.

The license Parser is provided by OpenLM without cost, obligation or requirement for identification. It already supports deciphering of several common file formats. Adding additional formats is an ongoing task. We urge our customers to come up with more license file formats, to improve this service for mutual benefit. The OpenLM License Parser service respects your privacy; All submitted files are automatically deleted after parsing. Please read our full privacy policy here.
